We are happy to announce the launch of our new Raven III loudspeakers! We heard from a lot of our clientele who wanted a full range, floor standing speaker with a modest footprint. Basically, a slightly larger version of the Raven II bookshelf speaker, but with more bass. The Raven III speakers will fit comfortably in any room while delivering a big sound.
We worked with SEAS to develop our own Full-Range single driver solution, tailored to deliver the seamless beauty of a single driver with no crossover and satisfying, coherent bass down below 40 Hz. In this design we wanted to deliver something well suited to modern life, and raise the bar in sound quality. The Raven III speakers are designed to be driven by low powered tube amplifiers like the Concert Fidelity CF-i300B which has an output of just 7 Watts per channel. They perform excellently with all of the Linear Tube Audio amps (my favorite being the Z40i or the Ultralinear Integrated) and if you are a solid state fan, the ModWright KWH-225i is a great match too! We are adding that great amp to our lineup!

Drivers:
Our new drivers for the Raven II and Raven III speakers are made to our specifications by our friends at Seas in Norway. They are 94 db efficient, with a 8 Ohm impedance. The frequency response of the driver is 30 Hz to 20,000. Our new design is developed to increase performance in the bass registers and deliver uncompromising detail and imaging with a smooth and enjoyable experience.

Enclosure Design:
Our enclosure is a front ported box that delivers great audio down into below 40 Hz. The Raven III floor standing speakers are designed to deliver excellent, full range sound with realistic bass. They are smooth, coherent, and detailed, allowing you to hear nuance in the recordings. We enjoy listening to them with a wide range of music from electronic and rock, to blues, jazz, classical, and country. These speakers make you want to get up and dance :)
They are easy to work with in terms of room placement and work excellent in a wide range of room sizes from small to moderately large (our listening room is 16' x 22' with 10' ceilings).
